Service description

skill·proofer is a tool that cross-references CV claims against public GitHub data and generates interview questions. Reports are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a hiring recommendation.

Payment terms

During the beta period, skill·proofer is free to use with a limit of 5 reports per user. When paid plans launch, each report will cost €149 EUR (or equivalent in local currency as determined by Stripe). Payment will be processed securely by Stripe at the time of purchase. All prices will be exclusive of any applicable taxes.

Refund policy

All sales are final. Because each report is generated on-demand using AI API calls and computational resources unique to each request, we cannot offer refunds once a report has been generated. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your report, please contact us and we will resolve the issue.

Acceptable use

You agree to use skill·proofer only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not:

• Upload CVs or GitHub usernames without proper authorization
• Use the service to harass, discriminate against, or unlawfully evaluate individuals
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable data protection or employment laws

Intellectual property

The skill·proofer platform, including its code, design, and branding, is proprietary. Reports generated by the platform are provided for your internal use. You may share reports with relevant stakeholders (e.g., hiring team members) but may not redistribute, resell, or publish them publicly.

Disclaimer

skill·proofer reports are based solely on public GitHub data and AI analysis. They are not a complete or definitive assessment of a candidate's abilities. Absence of evidence does not imply absence of skill. The tool is a screening aid, not a hiring decision maker. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any report.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, skill·proofer and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific report giving rise to the claim.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.
